The next regular meeting of the NMRA Nutmeg Division will be held in the Community Room of the Wethersfield Police Station, 250 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield, CT on the second Saturday of the month, 13 FEB 2010.

The agenda is:

 9:00 AM Setup: Anyone wishing to sell excess equipment, structures, etc. is invited to bring it to the meeting.  A donation to the club of 10% of the selling price is requested.

10:00 AM Social Hour and Refreshments

10:30 AM Clinic 1: Presented by Gary Krancher.  Creating Sounds capes for your Layout.  This will be a demonstration of downloading sounds from the internet and assembling them into a sounds cape.   Various hardware options will be shown.

11:15 AM Announcements and presentation of Achievement Program Certificate for Author to Jeffrey Hanke.

11:30 AM Clinic 2:  Presented by Fred Wintsch.  Building a Helix.  This is a repeat of last month's clinic, except that now the pictures are available.

11:45 AM Clinic 3: Seeley Kellogg and Tom Compton.  Standards for the Nutmeg Division Modular Railroad.  The preliminary document is posted on the web site:             http://www.nutmegdivision.org

A discussion will be held on the preliminary document and try to come to agreement on enough of the topics in order for construction to begin next month.  If you cannot attend, please voice any concerns to Seeley or Tom so that your points may be brought up.   When agreement is reached, there is an intent to schedule a construction meeting in March.  Each month thereafter, we hope to schedule on clinic a month on the continuing construction of your module.
