Join us Saturday, January 9th for an operating session of the TVR!
The monthly meeting of the Nutmeg Division will be held at the Tolland Arts Center in Tolland, CT. Please note the change of location (directions appear below). This event will include the regular division meeting and features an operating session of the Tobacco Valley Railroad Club's modular HO Scale layout.
Schedule is as follows:
9:00 AM Setup
10:00 Social hour and coffee
10:30 Clinic by Fred Wintsch, Building a helix
11:15 Business Meeting
11:30 Short Clinic by Tom Compton, Build a Tree Cyclone
12:00 Operate, for those that bring some Trains or not, the Tobacco Valley Railroad!
Directions to Tolland Arts Center at 22 Tolland Green:
From the south and west get off I-84 at exit 68. Turn left at the light at the end of the ramp. Go over the highway, through the traffic light on the other side of the highway and continue on CT 195 up the hill to Tolland Green. At the traffic light turn right then immediately left. The Tolland Arts Center is the first building on the right.
